This is looking great Bronson, I really love the textures and the mood you created with the value. You've also established a very nice rhythm to the pathway composition you chose which let's me explore this alley way. If I could offer any suggestions I would say to add some age to your scene, spiderwebs, more cracked brick, clutter upon the stairs. It's so clean right now I feel like you need a little goblin sweeping the steps which would explain why this environment is so tidy. I think the goblin option would be awesome :)
Awesome Bronson! I also really like the composition--it makes me want to follow the path and see where it goes. Really cool. My only suggestion would be, you've got a really nice "busy" area up towards the top on the left and I feel like it might be a nice balance to make a little more of that happen towards the lower right--you get a little bit with the shapes on the door, but where the value of the door is roughly the same over the whole thing I think pushing that "busyness" a little more in that area might be nice.
The texture on this entire piece is really really well handled. I think playing a bit more with the contrast will really help give this piece some more punch.
I really love the textures in this, too! The brick work is as spectacular as the composition. I really like the goblin idea. ;) I'm not sure I agree with Jess's comment. I think you achieved the 'busyness' that she finds lacking in the door paneling as well as the area of rest in the missing bricks. If you added more stuff, I don't think it would be as compelling. I think I would just add a little more contrast on the left side of things.
